Easter 2009

Easter morning the kids woke up to find baskets from the bunny and some stuff from mom and dad too. The Easter Bunny even hid eggs in the house, which Keira thought was really fun! I think the funniest part of the morning is when she was going through the baskets and handed me a box of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans and said "This is not good for you" Of course I agreed (they came from the Trader Joe's bunny...shhhh)

After breakfast, Bryan hid some more eggs outside. Isaac could have cared less but Keira was into it. After finding all of them and dumping her money out, she even wanted to have daddy hide them again.

While Isaac was taking his morning nap, Keira helped get our veggie tray ready. She peeled the cucumber and helped clean the bell peppers, then once Isaac woke up we went to Omi & Nonno's (aka AJ and Anabelle's grandparents). They had a great lunch and an egg hunt for the kids. The kids had a blast and I had fun visiting with friends and Amy/Andrew's family. Thanks for including us! Poor daddy worked a night shift so he didn't get to join us.

After we left Omi & Nonno's, we headed to my cousin Nicole's house to see the AZ family! You can tell by the pictures that the kids had a great time together. Keira cried when we left because she wanted to stay and play with the boys. We are so happy to have family in AZ since we obviously miss our family in CA.

You'll notice about halfway through the montage there are several pictures of the kids in front of the pool at Nicole's...I kept them all in so you could see the progression of trying to get everyone in the photo (notice Isaac is missing in the first few and then his gradual move to sitting with the kids) It was like herding cats but in the end there were some cute photos and I think the kids had fun.
